Green computing နှင့် green use ရဲ့သဘောတရားတွေကတော့ organization တွေ စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေမှာမှ လိုက်နာကျင့်သုံးနိုင်တာမျိုးမဟုတ်ဘဲ တစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်ချင်းဆီ လိုက်နာကျင့်သုံးနိုင်တဲ့ လွယ်ကူရှင်းလင်းတဲ့ အချက်အလက်တွေပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ တစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီ ဘယ်လိုလေ့လာကျင့်သုံးနိုင်လဲဆိုတဲ့ နည်းလမ်းအချို့ကိုလည်း အရင်ပတ်ကဖော်ပြခဲ့ပြီးပြီဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် ဒီတစ်ပါတ်မှာတော့ green computing ကြောင့် ဖြစ်လာတဲ့ ကောင်းကျိူးတွေဆိုးကျိုးတွေကို ဖော်ပြပေးသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

၁။ Green computing နည်းလမ်းစနစ်တွေနဲ့ စွမ်းအင်လျှော့ချသုံးစွဲခြင်းက လျှပ်စစ်ဓာတ်အားပေးစက်ရုံတွေနဲ့ သယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းတွေမှာ အသုံးပြုတဲ့ ကျောက်ဖြစ်ရုပ်ကြွင်းလောင်စာများလျှော့ချမှုမှဖြစ်ပေါ်လာတဲ့ ကာဗွန်ဒိုင်အောက်ဆိုက်ဓာတ်ငွေ့ထုတ်လွှတ်မှုတွေကို သက်သာစေပါတယ်။
၂။ Green manufacturing စနစ်ဖြင့် ထုတ်လုပ်တဲ့ ကွန်ပျူတာတွေနဲ့ စပ်ဆက်ပစ္စည်းအများစုကို ဝါးတွေနဲ့ထုတ်လုပ်ထားတာဖြစ်ပြီး အများစုသောကွန်ပျူတာတွေကို ပြန်လည်ထုတ်လုပ်အသုံးပြုလို့ရတဲ့ ပလပ်စတစ်ပစ္စည်းတွေနဲ့ ပြုလုပ်ထားတာဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အပေါ်ထိခိုက်မှုနည်းစေပါတယ်။
၃။ Green IT နည်းစနစ်များကို အသုံးပြုခြင်းက လူတစ်ဦး တစ်ယောက်သို့မဟုတ် အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခု၏အများပြည်သူဆိုင်ရာပုံရိပ်ကိုတိုးတက်စေရန်ကူညီပေးပါတယ်။
၄။ ယနေ့ခေတ်နည်းပညာသုံးစွဲသူတွေအနေနှင့်လည်း သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေးကို ပိုမိုသတိပြုမိလာကြသည်နှင့်အမျှ Green IT နည်းစနစ်တွေကလည်း ပိုမိုလူကြိုက်များလာလျက်ရှိပါတယ်။
၅။ Green IT နည်းစနစ်တွေကို အသုံးပြုခြင်းဖြင့် စွမ်းအင်နှင့် အရင်းအမြစ်တွေကိုထိန်းသိမ်းပေးတဲ့အတွက် ပိုက်ဆံကိုလည်းချွေတာရာရောက်စေပါတယ်။

၁။ ကနဦးရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု သို့မဟုတ် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရန် အသုံးပြုမှုစရိတ်သည်အလွန်မြင့်မားနိုင်ခြင်း။
၂။ အများစုသောသူတွေက နည်းပညာနှင့်အကျွမ်းတဝင်မရှိသေးသောကြောင့် green computing နည်းစနစ်တွေကိုနားလည်သဘောပေါက်ရန်အတွက် အချိန်ယူရခြင်း။

The concepts of green computing and green use are simple facts that can be applied not only by organizations but also by individuals. Last week we covered some of the ways in which individuals can learn and practice, and this week we will cover the pros and cons of green computing.

Reduced energy usage from green computing techniques translates into lower carbon dioxide emissions, stemming from a reduction in the fossil fuel used in power plants and transportation.
Green manufacturing makes use of bamboo for computers and peripherals. Moreover, computers are constructed using recyclable plastics. Hence it will have less impact on the environment.
Green IT implementation helps in improving the public image of an individual or an organization.
It has become popular as consumers of technology are becoming more environmentally conscious.
It saves energy, resources, and also money.
***As for the possible side effects of green computing :
The initial investment or implementation cost is very high.
People are still not familiar with the technology and hence will take time to adopt it for a larger population.
The technology is still evolving and many of the products are at the R & D stage. Hence people are unaware of performance results.
Lack of skilled human resources is available to install or implement green technology-based products or systems.
