ရေရှည်တည်တံ့တဲ့ဒီဇိုင်း (Sustainable Design) ဆိုတာက အရာဝတ္ထုတွေကိုတီထွင်ဖန်တီးစေတတ်ခြင်း၊ တည်ရှိပြီးသား ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နဲ့အတူ လူမှုရေး၊စီးပွားရေး၊ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ရှုထောင့်ကနေဖန်တီးပေးတဲ့ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုတွေနဲ့အတူ ဂေဟစနစ်ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲရေးအတွက် ကိုက်ညီတဲ့ လုပ်ထုံးလုပ်နည်း၊ ဒီဇိုင်းဆွဲခြင်းတွေကိုဆိုလိုပါတယ်။
ရေရှည်တည်တံ့တဲ့ဒီဇိုင်း (Sustainable Design) ကို သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နှင့်သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့ဒီဇိုင်း(environmental design)၊ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲစေတဲ့ဒီဇိုင်း (environmentally sustainable design) နှင့် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာ သတိပေးခြင်းဒီဇိုင်း(environmentally conscious design) တွေလို့လည်း ခေါ်ကြပါသေးတယ်။
ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲတဲ့ဒီဇိုင်းကတော့ ကျွမ်းကျင်ပြီး သေချာတိကျတဲ့ဒီဇိုင်းတွေကိုအသုံးပြုခြင်းအားဖြင့်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အပေါ်ဆိုးကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှုများမရှိစေဖို့ ရည်ရွယ်ပါတယ်။ ဆိုလိုတာကတော့ ပြန်ပြီးအသုံးပြုလို့ရတဲ့ သယံဇာတအရင်းအမြစ်တွေကို ဒီဇိုင်းဆွဲရာကအစ ပြန်လည်အသုံးသပ်ပေးခြင်း၊ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ထိခိုက်မှုကို အနည်းဆုံးဖြစ်အောင် လျှော့ချခြင်းနှင့် လူသားတွေကို သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နဲ့ ထိတွေ့စေခြင်းတွေပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

၆။ လုပ်ငန်းလည်ပတ်မှုနှင့် ထိန်းသိမ်းမှုအလေ့အကျင့်များကို ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်စေခြင်းတို့ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

What is sustainable design?
Sustainable design (also called environmental design, environmentally sustainable design, environmentally conscious design, etc.) is the philosophy of designing physical objects, the built environment, and services to comply with the principles of social, economic, and ecological sustainability.
The intention of sustainable design is to make sure there are no negative impacts on the environment by using skillful, sensitive design. This means using renewable resources, impacting the environment minimally, and connecting people with the natural environment.
Sustainable design principles include the ability to:

2. Minimize non-renewable energy consumption
3. Use environmentally preferable products
4. Protect and conserve water
5. Enhance indoor environmental quality and
